Christopher Stark
Having created Starkworks Limited in 2011, a commercial strategy and project delivery consultancy based on over 15 years of working across the private and public sectors, leading significant programmes of investment and change in Education, Healthcare and Urban Regeneration, Chris has supported CEOs and Trust Boards in delivering their key strategic ambitions or resolving their most high-risk and demanding challenges.
With a strong background in highly regulated, state-funded sectors, Chris works to ensure investments in resources and services are always aligned to best value and maintains a strong commercial oversight of a wide vendor ecosystem and range of delivery models. More recently, in response to the maturation of the multi-academy trust (MAT) model, Chris has specialised in helping MATs either grow through negotiated asset transfers or led on consolidation programmes whereby individual schools are divested and transferred to new sponsors to assist with structured growth and performance improvements elsewhere.
Taking an uncompromising approach to securing additional funding or support for client organisations, Chris works with clients to take responsibility for delivery of their core strategic outcomes, supported by a wide and proven network of specialist service providers.
Having trained initially as a journalist and having worked through a variety of organisations from regulators, providers and city-based consultancies, Chris now operates across the country to ensure that schools and trusts operate to meet their fullest potential.
